We will have an intensive week + 2 hours that will involve 7 rehearsals. Something new that the Seaway Winds are trying www.seawaywinds.ca
If this works well, we are on our way to a new strategy of boosting the band. From there we go to another 12 rehearsals (weather permitting) before Barb Hunter comes to take her band. Hope she will come back to a great band like she has not seen for a while.

Clifford Labre has done a great job with the Cornwall Public Library monthly chess tournaments this year. We hosted our last of these tournaments on Saturday, June 5th and all went well. You can see the results of the Chess’n Math Association website http://www.chesstalk.com/elo/pub/
We are now entering our summer program with summer camps both at the beginning and end of the summer.
I will be concentrating on my WebDesigns business and working with Jacob, my grandson to build an even better service for my clients.
As for music, it is going strong with public performances with Clarpian-duo http://clarpianduo.org/ and the Seaway Winds Concert Band

Keep in shape and take advantage of this great summer.

Bringing 3 helpers and will run a 75 to 100 kids tournament. This is year 6 of tournaments at this school and all is well. A lot of work for a tournament but also we keep kids interested in chess because of these activities.
We are leaving home at 6:55 a.m. and back home at 3 p.m.
Because of the help I get, the tournaments are not difficult. I prepare a few days ahead, coordinate the tasks that are to be done, make the announcements, take photos, announce the winners and update the website with the results. Of course, I drive the team to Ottawa and back.
Maintaining the website is quite a job but the history is there for all chess in the area. Well worth it.

I am on the www.lynda.com website to study wordpress. Great to be a member of Lynda.com. Everything is on there with all the courses about almost every computer program you want. Of course, WordPress is there teaching everything you need to know about running your blog. Great stuff.

After finishing work on some websites it is time to relax and examine where I can upgrade older sites. I know that some sites need a face lift and this is where I come in. www.rbhlifttruck.com is going to be a great site once we get all of it up and running.
Have a great and restful night.

Tonight I am retiring about one hour earlier than usual. I will still get up at 5:30 tomorrow morning and enjoy starting my work early. A bit of work tomorrow on Twitter, Facebook and especially on Blogging. I need to change the writing on my header photo. The cross is great but the rest has to be modified. Will keep working at it tomorrow.
Good night. ☺
